LAHORE: The Center for Educational Policy and Administration (CEPA) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad organised concluding ceremony of a 3-day “Faculty Training Workshop on Research Methodology”.
UVAS Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani presided over the concluding session of the workshop and distributed certificates among the participants while Dean Faculty of Biosciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman and Chairperson Department of Anatomy & Histology Dr Hafsa Zaneb and twenty-five participants of the workshop attended.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Masood Rabbani said that it is direly needed to learn research methods and techniques and find out the priority areas for winning of research projects/grants from international agencies. He said we need to get benefit from the experiences of principle investigators who are working successfully on their research projects. Dr Rabbani lauded the organisers for conducting such an informative workshop for the betterment of students and sector as well.
Earlier Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman spoke about the objectives of CEPA. At the end of the ceremony Dr Hafsa Zenab presented the vote of thanks. In the workshop various aspects have been discussed related to research methodology, including critical thinking in research, research process, how to write a research paper, endnote use in research, plagiarism and research ethics, etc.
