LAHORE: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha administered oath to newly-elected office-bearers of the Officer Staff Association (OSA) of the university.
The new office-bearers are Zahid Hussain (President), Dr Dawar Hameed Mughal (Senior Vice-President), Tariq Abdullah (Vice-President), Rana Amjad Iqbal (General Secretary), Muhammad Kanwar Shahid Iqbal (Joint Secretary), Qaiser Hussain (Finance Secretary), Badar Munir (Information Secretary).
Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor congratulated the new office-bearers and advised them to work for the welfare and development of the officer staff of the university. He also lauded the effort of UVAS Officers and their services. He talked about the development projects, which are underway in UVAS Ravi Campus Pattoki regarding staff residences and playgrounds for them. He advised the staff to facilitate the students, who are our main stakeholder. He also shared his past memories.
Newly Elected President OSA Zahid Hussain presented the agenda of the association for the welfare of the employees. The Vice-Chancellor supported all the OSA employees` welfare steps.
