LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) jointly organised a 2 weeks long “Faculty Training Programme on Veterinary Clinical Procedures in Large & Small Animals” in UVAS Ravi Campus Pattoki.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and President (PVMC) Dr Muhammad Arshad co-chaired inaugural session of the training programme while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, Secretary/Registrar (PVMC) Dr Alamdar Hussain Malik, Dr Muhammad Zahid Tahir and 23 participants from 12 accredited veterinary institutes all over Pakistan attended. In the first phase, the participants would get hands-on training on clinical procedures by Dr Kamran Jahangir who has vast working experience in Canada.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Muhammad Arshad enlightened the role of PVMC in uplift of veterinary education in Pakistan. Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha emphasized the faculty to achieve excellence by using their theoretical and practical knowledge in their respective domains.
