DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Livestock Department of Dera Ghazi Khan, provided 600 poultry units to their farmers at subsidized rates.
According to the Additional Director Livestock, Dr. Tauseef Tahir, each of the poultry unit consists of 01 cock and 05 hens, which which have been given to the farmers at a rate of Rs 1200/-.
Furthermore, he added that the Livestock Department sought applications from those farmers prior to handing over the poultry units to them.
Deputy Director, Dr. Aatif Haseeb and other prominent figures belonging to the Livestock sector were also present at the occasion.
