LAHORE: The Punjab Government has raised the prices of sugar cane by 300 to 400 per kg.
According to sources, the Punjab government’s food department increased the price of sugar cane and also advised that the crushing of sugar cane season should begin before November 25.
Media reports claim that due to this rise, the price of sugar shall also increase by Rs 112 to 115.
