LAHORE: Punjab Caretaker Minister of Transport, Mines & Minerals, and Livestock & Dairy Development, Ibrahim Hasan Murad has recently inaugurated the Retail Business School (RBS) in Lahore to boost local retail industry.
Minister Murad, during the event, highlighted the importance of the growth and development of professionals in the retail sector. He commended the visionary approach behind the establishment of RBS and its commitment to enhancing professional development in the retail industry.
The launch event was also attended by Rana Tariq, Chairman of the Chainstore Association of Pakistan, and Hassan Pardesi, CEO of Goldcrest Mall.
In his keynote address, Rana Tariq explained the dynamics of the future of retail education, aiming to provide industry professionals with valuable insights to navigate and capitalize on the evolving scenario of retail education in Pakistan.
Noman H Malik, the visionary behind RBS, reiterated the institution’s mission to revolutionize the retail landscape in the country.
Acknowledging the absence of formal education opportunities in the field, he said RBS aims to empower retail professionals through different training programmes, certifications, and workshops.
He added that the RBS launch in Lahore marks a significant step toward promoting excellence in retail management and addressing the existing gaps in the country’s retail industry.
