MANALI: In recognition for Pakistan’s rice industry’s high quality standards, Pakistani rice exporter Fuad Garib has been awarded the Best Market Achievement Award at the 2024 World Rice Conference in Manila.
This is the first time a Pakistani rice company has been distinguished at the prestigious World Rice Conference, attended by over 400 industry stakeholders, buyers, and experts.
The event acknowledged Pakistani rice exporters’ contributions, showcasing the country’s growing footprint in the international rice market and the high standards of its rice exports.
“This is a proud moment for Pakistan,” Garib said, attributing the award to the hard work and dedication within the rice sector.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Manila congratulated Garib on his achievement, saying that it not only honours his personal efforts but also underscores Pakistan’s status as an important player in the global agricultural market.
