KARACHI: On Friday, The Dr Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD) will conduct a national workshop on techniques for handling small-scale laboratory animals (October 21 and 22)
The national workshop is being held at the National Facility for Laboratory Animal Research and Care (NFLARC) facility. It has been co-organized by the Dr Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research and Sindh Innovation Research, and Education Network. It will feature more than 100 scholars from 37 countries (SIREN).
Prof Dr M Iqbal Choudhary, Director of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, and COMSTECH Coordinator General will inaugurate the workshop, in accordance with the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, spokesman on Wednesday.
The program intends to give researchers and students practical instruction to enhance their capability in handling and dispensing drugs to Small Laboratory Animals (SLA), which is essential for conducting credible pre-clinical studies.
