LAHORE: Meanwhile UVAS’ Debating Society in collaboration with University Literary Society, QIRTAS organized competitions of debates and Essay Writing respectively. Sameen, Momina Arshad and Shanza Farooq remained significant in English Essay Writing while Saira Mukhtar, Maria Raheel and Saad Khalid secured positions in Urdu Essay Writing Competition. Ifrah Irshad, Maham Zara, Aoun Abass, Amina batool and Laiba Rasheed spoke about the life and Ideology of Jinnah. UVAS Senior Tutor Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf and Dr Asim Aslam co-chaired the prize distribution ceremony and distributed certificates among the winner of contests while Ms Rafia Kiran Zahid and Ms Maryam Javed were also present on the occasion.
