Chitral: As accomplice to the crime, six donkeys have been arrested in the attempt to steal wood, particularly Timber with the Timber mafia in the country’s KPK district.
The incident took place on the night of 20th October, reports claimed that sleepers were being loaded with the wood on six donkeys, to be smuggled to different villages. However, as soon as the authorities reached the area, the owners of the donkeys had fled, leaving the six donkeys and their load of wood, behind.
The donkeys have therefore been taken into custody on account of the facilitation of the theft of timber, as an accomplice of the timber mafia, who are known for using donkeys, to transport wood to other villages.
The unforeseen events have resulted in the arrest of the six donkeys. According to the district authorities, Assistant Commissioner Mr Darosh Tauseefullah said that the donkeys are to be presented before the court in six days, for their trial.
