HILLSIDE, N.J.: HT Vet, the veterinary health technology company behind HT Vista, the world’s only non-invasive first-line cancer detection tool for dogs, has announced new survey results demonstrating significant clinical and financial benefits for veterinary practices.

According to data collected from ten veterinary clinics in the US, UK, and Israel, practices using HT Vista experienced an average 40% increase in mass removal surgeries within six months of adopting the device. Some practices even reported increases of up to 200%, despite no rise in the number of dogs presenting with suspicious lumps.

Driving better outcomes and higher efficiency

Clinics noted that HT Vista’s Cancer Risk Score—with 90% sensitivity and 98% negative predictive value—helped veterinarians make faster, more confident decisions about diagnostics and treatment. The technology’s 40-second heat diffusion imaging scan provides immediate insight, eliminating the uncertainty of the traditional “wait and see” approach.

“I use HT Vista to tell me what to do next,” said Dr. Ohad Barnea, Clinical Director and Co-owner of Tenafly Veterinary Center. “If I get a high cancer risk result, I recommend diagnostics or removal more urgently. If it’s a low cancer risk result, we may opt for a minor surgical removal with local anesthesia, preventing benign tumors from becoming problematic. HT Vista gives both clarity and assurance to clinicians and pet owners alike.”

Financial impact and ROI

Most clinics reported a positive return on investment (ROI) within four to six months of adoption. By increasing the number of lumpectomies and biopsies performed, HT Vista not only improves patient outcomes but also strengthens clinic revenue streams.

“These results confirm what we’ve long believed—that fast, non-invasive cancer screening empowers veterinary teams to make more confident decisions and deliver better care,” said Shani Toledano, CEO of HT Vet. “HT Vista shortens the time between detection and treatment, improves outcomes for dogs, provides peace of mind for owners, and helps clinics grow sustainably.”

Expanding global access

Earlier this year, HT Vet announced a strategic partnership with Patterson Veterinary, one of North America’s largest distributors of veterinary products, to expand access to HT Vista across the US. This initiative, combined with other global partnerships, is expected to bring HT Vista closer to the company’s goal of making the device available in every veterinary clinic worldwide.
