LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) hosted a thought-provoking seminar entitled ‘Iqbal & Revival of Our Commitments with Pakistan’ in connection with the poet-philosopher’s birth anniversary.
The event, held at the LCCI premises, drew a diverse audience comprising experts and other individuals from various spheres of life.
The speakers including LCCI Senior Vice President Zafar Mahmood Chaudhry, Muhammad Arif Hijazi, President of the Fiker–e-Iqbal Forum Khawaja Waheed, Maj Gen Qasim Qureshi, and Brig Waheed-uz-Zaman Tariq, in their addresses highlighted Allama Iqbal’s philosophy and its role in revival of people’s commitment to the country.
Throughout the seminar, speakers underscored the enduring significance of Allama Iqbal’s contributions as a revered poet and profound thinker.
They emphasised that Iqbal’s vision of humanity remains as relevant today as it ever was. The speakers commended Allama Iqbal for imparting a valuable lesson of brotherhood and nurturing human friendship, which they described as a precious gift to all of humanity.
The seminar served as a platform for reflecting on Iqbal’s ideals and their contemporary relevance in fostering a stronger commitment to the nation.
