Karachi: In order to take vengeance, a man poured acid down a donkey’s throat. The wounded donkey is being cared for by the ACF team in their shelter currently.
In an attempt to just get revenge on the donkey proprietor whilst he was away, a wicked man poured acid down a donkey’s neck about a week ago for vengeance. The donkey has been carrying a heavy cart since then without being able to rest or eat properly.
He can’t stop drooling out of his burned mouth. He has developed blisters throughout all of his oral cavity. Even contemplating how his other vital organs might have been harmed by this heinous actions hurts.
The ACF crew came across the donkey last week at one of their donkey camps while he was spotted standing in a pile of garbage without any meal, water, or shelter. The intense heat was probably causing his mouth to get sore. He was spotted sobbing in helplessness as all of this was happening.
The ACF team found it challenging to persuade the donkey owner to surrender the donkey to them. Because the owner was uneducated and underprivileged, his financial interests were taken into consideration at all times. The team did their best to educate the owner that the donkey would not survive for a very long time and that all he required was good care and rest while he was still alive.
Through their connections, the team was able to assist the donkey owner in renting a donkey so that he could continue to make money until he had saved enough to purchase another donkey for himself. If the owner agreed to keep the new donkey safe and healthy, the team also promised to prepare a harness for him.
The donkey was eventually released, and by Saturday evening, it had been transferred to a shelter. He immediately proceeded to the stable, where he started eating and putting his face in a basin of water to soothe his burned sores. It was quite obvious how happy he was after six days of suffering.
The essential therapies officially started right away. His burns were cleaned, but no additional care was given because it would simply make him more uncomfortable and restless. After taking food and liquids continuously for an hour, he was shown to be more active and healthy than before. He was fighting through it all, yet there was no denying for the hope on his face.
He is currently being looked for by the ACF team. The team has given him the nickname “Bear” and is currently raising funds for his treatment. A 3500 rupee donation is requested. Interested individuals can immediately contact the team through social media sites like Instagram and Facebook, where they can contact the ACF team with the title “Bear” to request bank information.
It is distressing to witness how poverty has engulfed our nation. The young donkey owner needed to make money, so he forced a wounded donkey to work. Sad to see that donkey owners who depend on their animals for a living have no union or support in Pakistan.
