BEIJING: SF Airlines, China’s largest air cargo carrier, has announced the launch of a new air cargo route connecting Ezhou Huahu Airport of central China’s Hubei Province with Lahore.
This marks the first international air cargo route initiated by SF Airlines in the current year, originating from Ezhou Huahu Airport, China’s primary cargo-focused airport.
Operating three times a week, the Ezhou-Lahore cargo route is set to provide a substantial air transport capacity of over 300 tons. The transported goods primarily include textiles, 3C electronic products, and electronic equipment, according to China Economic Net (CEN).
The establishment of the Ezhou-Lahore international cargo route holds significance in Huahu Airport’s strategy to expand connections to South Asia. It aims to establish an efficient and stable air logistics channel for economic and trade exchanges between China and Pakistan, facilitating Chinese brands in exploring the Pakistani market.
This initiative builds upon SF Airlines’ previous openings of two direct cargo routes from Ezhou to South Asia: Ezhou-Delhi and Ezhou-Chennai. The introduction of the new cargo route to Pakistan further reinforces Ezhou’s air transport network in South Asia.
SF Airlines, the aviation arm of SF Express, a leading Chinese courier enterprise, has now launched a total of 11 international cargo routes from Ezhou to various global destinations, contributing to enhanced global trade connectivity.
