NEW YORK: Seven Pakistani companies are among over 600 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing their textile products at TEXWORLD-2024, which commenced in New York recently.
Held at the expansive Javits Center, the three-day exhibition attracted a large number of buyers on its opening day. Described as the leading sourcing event on the United States’ east coast, TEXWORLD-2024 features thousands of fabrics and garments from hundreds of global textile manufacturers and suppliers in both traditional and hybrid formats.
Sponsored by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), seven Pakistani companies are among the exhibitors.
Pakistan’s Consul General in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, along with Adnan Awan, the Trade & Investment Counsellor in New York, visited the Pakistani companies booths. These companies reported productive meetings with quality buyers.
Many buyers also visited TDAP’s booth, expressing interest in sourcing opportunities from Pakistan and in Texpo, another textile exhibition scheduled to be held in Karachi in October this year.
