ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar highlighted the significance of the recently forged agreements between Pakistan and China, emphasizing their potential to create new avenues for employment and economic growth in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
During a meeting at the PM House with GB Chief Minister Gulbar Khan, the prime minister underscored the transformative impact these agreements could have on the region.
Discussions focused on the memorandum of understanding signed during the prime minister’s visit to China, and their impact on further improving trade relations between Gilgit-Baltistan and Xinjiang.
Expressing gratitude, the chief minister extended thanks to the prime minister for his recent visit to the region and for displaying a keen interest in its developmental efforts for GB.
