HYDERABAD: Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam has launched the three-day ‘Youth Skill Development for Future Leadership’ program to prepare prepare future leaders for a rapidly changing world.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the program, at the university’s A.M. Shaikh Auditorium, SAU Vice Chancellor Dr. Fateh Marri underscored the crucial role of youth in adapting to global challenges and cultivating leadership skills.
Dr. Marri emphasized the need for young people to take initiative and embrace strong values while contributing to social welfare.
He highlighted the importance of addressing economic development, research innovation, and geographical shifts while maintaining moral integrity, appropriate behavior, and practical wisdom.
Social reformer and motivational speaker Atiq Raja stressed the need for a mindset shift among the youth, saying that rethinking traditional approaches is essential to navigate the fast-paced environment effectively.
Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Director of University Advancement and Financial Assistance, elaborated on the program’s objectives, saying it aims to equip participants with leadership skills, enhanced communication, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational behavior, enabling them to succeed in both their communities and professional lives.
