KARACHI: A senior veterinary doctor was allegedly harassed and manhandled by a woman and her accomplices after a cat brought to his North Nazimabad clinic suffered paralysis.
According to the first information report (FIR), a woman, Samina Adnan came to Dr. Amir Hamza’s clinic and alleged that her cat suffered paralysis due to wrong treatment by the vet.
Despite Dr Hamza explaining that the cat was weak due to a lack of food and suggesting a test, the woman began shouting and causing a commotion, hurling death threats at the vet.
The complainant alleged that after 15 minutes, two men entered the clinic and started harassing and manhandling him. The intruder called him a “fake doctor” and recorded videos of the incident. The police have registered a case and started investigations.
