LAHORE: The Qiraat and Naat Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged all Pakistan Naat-Qiraat contests at UVAS premises. A large number of students from various universities from all over the Pakistan articipated in these contests.
In Qiraat contest, Muhammad Mudassir (University of Agriculture Faisalabad) won 1st position, Hafiz Muhammad Amir (Government College University Lahore) got 2nd while Muhammad Malik Anas (University of Education Lahore) stood in 3rd position.
In Naat Contest, Husnain Mujahid (Government College University Lahore) won 1st position, Ammar Zia (Garrison University Lahore) got 2nd position and Ali Mukarram (University of Agriculture Faisalabad) got 3rd position.
Renowned Scholar Saeed Ahmad Saeedi was the chief guest on the occasion. Later Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired concluding ceremony and distributed shields and certificates among the winners of the contests. Senior Tutor UVAS Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf and Dr Yasin Tipu also attended.
