LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest. A large number of students from various universities from all over Pakistan participated in the contest.
In English debate contest, Rameesa Khan (Punjab University) won 1st position, Haris Ali Virk (Government College University Lahore) 2nd and Qurat-ul-Ain (University of Engineering and Technology) 3rd position.
In Urdu Debate contest, Haseeb Ahmad Ameen (University of Lahore) won 1st postion, Arif Nazar got 2nd while Kashaf Saher Rana (Government College University Faisalabad) stood 3rd. The Punjab University team won overall first position in the declamation contest.
Government College University Lahore (GCU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Hassan Amir Shah and UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the concluding ceremony and gave away trophy to the winner of the contest. Senior Tutor Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf and Prof Dr Asim Aslam were also present on the occasion.
