LAHORE – The Center for applied policy research in Livestock (CAPRIL) and UVAS Business School of the University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences Lahore recently organised a lecture on the topic of “Animal Health Economics”.
Dr Pablo Alarcon Lopez from Royal Veterinary College London delivered the lecture to UVAS undergraduate and Postgraduate students while Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, Chairman Department of Economics & Business Management and UVAS Business School Dr Rana Muhammad Ayyub and many faculty members were attended.
Dr Pablo discussed the importance of Livestock Economics and emphasized that Livestock is a prolific economic resource for developing countries. Later a meeting with the stakeholders was also held in the UVAS business School, in which they discussed about the strategies to improve the livestock management systems in Punjab.
